Worship Ministry Assistant

North Gwinnett Church in Suwanee, GA is looking for a worship ministry assistant. Our church is experiencing a shift in our worship ministry, due to one of our key families moving to another area for a ministry opportunity. The core responsibilities of this position would be to help in the rehearsal and leading of our worship team each week, with the option of additional responsiblities depending on skill, desire, and availability.

 This position would be great for:

• A musician looking to use their talents in a local church
• A college student with worship leadership skills
• A young adult interested in going into worship ministry in the future

Requirements

• Must be a Christian with an active walk with the Lord
• Must not be walking in unrepentant sin that would bring reporach on Christ or His church

Musical Requirements

• Instrumental ability (preferably acoustic or electric guitar)
• Vocal ability (able to lead and sing harmony)
• Adaptable to needs of the ministry

Optional Skills

• ProPresenter
• Audio Mixing
• Lighting/DMX
• Livestream (BlackMagic, ATEM)
• Music Technology (DAW, music editing, etc.)

Availability/Schedule

• Sunday: 8AM-12:30PM (setup, sound check, and service)
• Thursday: 6:30PM-9PM (setup, rehearsal)
  • If Thursday evenings are an issue, we can considering holding rehearsal at an alternate time

Pay

• $200/week stipend 
• Mileage rates if commuting more than 5 miles
• Additional pay available based on other responsibilities taken on
• Housing can be provided on Saturday evenings if needed
