Fayetteville First Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor with a heart for discipleship and passion for reaching the lost. He should have a strong Biblical worldview with a proven record of pastoral qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. A man of faith with a servant heart, he must also reflect a genuine love for people and a spirit of humility both in his personal and professional life. Our next Senior Pastor will be instrumental in building relationships among the existing members, prospective members and our local community. He will actively seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance while encouraging and leading the church to do the same. As we collectively seek God’s wisdom for the next season of ministry, the Senior Pastor will lead and facilitate the implementation of the vision as God directs.
Desired Qualifications:
Preaching Style - Personal, relational, engaging, effective communicator who boldly proclaims truth in an often challenging world
Education - Completed Seminary Degree
Experience - 10+ years relevant experience
Characteristics - Visionary, Relational, Servant-Leader, Approachable, Discerning
Administrative Experience – Leading of Pastoral Staff
