Bi-Vocational Youth Pastor

Unadilla First Baptist Church is currently seeking a Youth Pastor. The days required will be Sunday morning, along with Sunday evening service, Wednesday night service and other planned events that will take place through out the year. 

The Youth Pastor at Unadilla First Baptist Church is entrusted with the responsibility of leading and nurturing the church’s youth. This role is dedicated to fostering the spiritual growth of young people and encouraging their active participation in church life. Through biblical teaching, mentorship, and meaningful fellowship activities, the Youth Pastor serves as a guide for youth as they navigate their faith journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and biblical teaching to youth during Sunday School on Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening church services.
• Plan and organize a variety of activities, events, and outreach programs beyond regular church meetings, such as retreats, service projects, social gatherings, and special trips.
• Cultivate relationships with youth and their families, offering spiritual guidance and support whenever needed.
• Promote and encourage youth participation in the church’s ministries and activities.
• Work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all youth.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding upcoming events, youth programs, and opportunities for involvement.
• Assist the Senior Pastor with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living a life consistent with biblical standards.
• Preferably possesses experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting.
• Exhibits strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Has the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Shows commitment to the mission and values of Unadilla First Baptist Church.
