First Baptist Church in Port Wentworth is searching for a bi-vocational pastor to lead us. We are Bible believing Christians located just outside of Savannah, GA. Our church was founded in 1922 and has a rich history in our community. We are searching for God's man to aid us in evangelizing our community as well as serving our congregation.
We are looking for someone to preach messages that are true to Jesus' teaching, willing to get out in the community to share, and visit those in need. We would like for that man to be a graduate of a Southern Baptist seminary who full embraces/teaches the Southern Baptist Faith and Message and its doctrine. We are a Southern Baptist committee-led church and we desire the leadership of God's man who embraces that, too.
Port Wentworth is our mission field and it is wide open for harvest. We need someone to aid us in reaching that field.
