Calvary Baptist Church in Jesup, Georgia, is searching for a full-time Minister of Youth. The Minister of Youth is responsible for overseeing the church’s youth ministries; ensuring an engaging, safe, and supportive environment where students can come to know the Lord and His Word and strengthen their relationship with Him. The Minister of Youth will help recruit and train volunteers who will touch students’ lives with God’s love, deepen their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word, and provide fellowship with God’s people. This position is a vital part of our ministry team, focusing on the spiritual growth and development of students through programs such as Wednesday Night Youth Services, Retreats, and Sunday School, as well as, demonstrating being the hands and feet of Jesus through local service projects and missions both domestically and abroad. 

Calvary Baptist Church is eighty-five years old, located in Southeast Georgia. She is associated with the Coastal Rivers Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, and the Southern Baptist Convention. She is a conservative body who affirms the BFM of 2000. In 2023, she averaged 425 in Sunday morning attendance. Currently, she has 102 students from sixth to twelfth grades on her Sunday School rolls.
