Preschool Ministry Coordinator

Hello! We’re excited to open our search for Tabernacle’s next Preschool Ministry Coordinator. Our current Preschool Minister, Amy Burney is stepping into a new role here at Tabernacle Baptist Church as our Connections Director—continuing her incredible ministry impact in a new way. We’re grateful for her faithful leadership in preschool ministry and excited to see her continue serving our church and community.

With this transition, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about serving preschoolers and their families to step into this part-time leadership role. The Preschool Ministry Coordinator will guide and encourage our volunteer team as we care for the youngest of the precious souls God brings to Tabernacle each week.

This role includes:

• Coordinating and scheduling volunteers for Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights
• Recruiting and equipping new volunteers
• Scheduling childcare workers for special events, giving parents the opportunity to serve and participate in ministry
• Partnering closely with our weekday preschool to make the best use of our shared preschool building for both ministries

We’re seeking someone who is detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and has a heart for both children and volunteers. You’ll also work directly with Amy during the transition, benefitting from her years of insight and experience. A detailed Job Description will be made avaiable upon request.
