Orchard Pointe is 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga Tn.  We are blessed with young families and children.   Orchard is looking for a creative and fun youth pastor who desires to see the heart of children pointed to Christ.  The applicant must have a strong relationship with Jesus and outstanding character. The Youth Pastor will lead each Sunday evening youth service and oversee volunteers. The Youth Pastor will also need to have a heart to engage with parents in partnering with them in raising their children for Christ.  The youth pastor will help lead Sunday services, Wednesday night gatherings, and oversee any other events scheduled throughout the year. 

Personal Qualifications:

  • Committed Christ-follower who feels a call by God to lead and equip youth
  • Love for youth, their families and the church
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to build and lead volunteer teams 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead youth into Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ through Discipleship and Showing Christ through outreach.
  • Choose and prepare curriculum/lessons for each week.
  • Set an example of Spiritual and Moral Maturity 
  • Actively participate in weekly worship services and other scheduled events.
  • Meet monthly with Pastor to share prior ministry activities and future planned events.
  • Arrive at all services and or events 30 minutes prior, unless noted differently, for assistance and preparation.
  • Faithfully support the church through tithe and offerings.
  • Work with Pastor and Advisory Board on a healthy plan of spiritual and numerical growth for the youth program.
  • Any and all funds used from the youth account must be recorded and receipts turned in
  • Any monies above and beyond the yearly amount given by the church, must be raised by the youth program.

Salary100.00 - 200.00 Week
