Position Overview:

The Student & Media Director is a full-time leadership role responsible for...

1. reimagining and rebuilding the student ministry from the ground up, creating a spiritually formative environment where students are shaped in the way of Jesus
2. overseeing the church’s media and production efforts.

This individual must be highly relational, visionary, and self-motivated, with a deep love for Jesus and a passion for spiritual formation through discipleship to Jesus.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Ministry (50%)

• Vision & Leadership: Develop and implement a clear vision for student ministry that aligns with the church’s mission and values.
• Discipleship & Teaching: Foster spiritual growth in students through teaching, discipleship, and engaging experiences that help them live and love like Jesus.
• Relationships & Engagement: Build meaningful connections with students and their families, creating a welcoming and engaging environment.
• Volunteer Development: Recruit, train, and equip a team of adult volunteers to serve in student ministry.
• Events & Outreach: Plan and execute student gatherings, retreats, camps, and outreach opportunities.

Media & Production (50%)

• Video & Graphic Design: Create high-quality video content along with digital and print materials to support the church’s communication strategy.
• Production Support: Oversee in-house audio mixing, lighting (using LightKey), and livestream production, ensuring smooth and engaging worship services.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to serve in media and production roles.
• Tech Oversight: Maintain and improve church media systems, ensuring reliable operation for services and events.

• Demonstrates leadership competency that meets or exceeds the expectations of the "Leading a Ministry" level within the church’s Leadership Pipeline.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and spiritual growth in alignment

Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be deeply committed to following Jesus and practicing the way of Jesus, with a
• Be highly relational and passionate about investing in students and their families.
• Possess strong leadership skills, able to cast vision and build teams.
• Be proficient in video production, graphic design, and digital media tools.
• Have experience in live production, audio mixing, and lighting.
• Be a self-starter who thrives in both creative and ministry settings.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in student ministry leadership.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), ProPresenter, and LightKey.
• Familiarity with live streaming and church production environments.
