We are seeking a full-time, multifaceted leader with a vision and desire to help carry our church into the future. Founded in 1850, our church's rich history only emboldens our desire to carry out the Great Commission both at home and globally. This has been demonstrated by our faithful commitment in giving to missions. Our motto edifies that we are committed to "Connecting to Jesus and Connecting to People."
Our sprawling campus, encompasses a newly renovated sanctuary, chapel, offices, multiple educational classrooms, garages, ample parking, and a well-equipped Christian Life Center all posed with the perfect location in historic downtown. God's chosen man for us will be equipped with a debt-free facility designed for outreach and serving the lost. It is an asset to our community as well, having been utilized by such organizations as the Red Cross during times of need.
Our preferred candidate will fulfill the qualifications as described in both 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and Titus 1:5-9. He will lead by the example of his own daily walk with Christ. He will have a passion to meet people where they are, and disciple them to where God desires them to be. He will possess strong administrative, organizational and communication skills. As a genuine and confident shepherd, he will love unconditionally, be a humble servant, and be Christ-like in the grace he extends to others. He should be gifted in teaching and preaching, sharing sound Biblical doctrine that adheres to the Baptist Faith and the Message 2000.
