Family Pastor

South Harriman Baptist Church (SHBC) in Harriman, TN is seeking a part-
time or full-time Family Minister/Pastor. The Family Minister will be
responsible for the evangelism, discipleship, development, and oversight of
ministry to children, youth, and their families. Expectations for the Family
Minister include teaching youth, overseeing youth volunteers, planning
special events for youth and families, being involved in local schools,
overseeing children’s volunteers and ministry, and helping to manage the
church’s social media. The Family Minister would also assist the pastor in
other ministries and outreach of the church and have opportunities to
preach and be involved in corporate worship services. This individual must
agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and be able to teach with
biblically sound and Christ-centered doctrine. The individual should
possess a mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit a
lifestyle above reproach. The individual should have proven communication
and organizational skills and approach ministry with a team mentality.

hours from the Great Smoky Mountains, and Chattanooga, TN, in the heart
