Title: Worship Arts Associate
Purpose of Position: To assist overall Worship Arts Ministries with a focus on bands and Next Generation areas.
Relates Closely with: Worship Arts Team
1) Administrative Support
• Assist Worship Arts Pastor with calendaring, emails, phone calls and other communication
• Assist with preparation and setup for rehearsals and Sunday worship
• Help research creative ideas, music, resources, or other items as requested
• Submit and maintain Worship Arts eSpace requests
• Assist in administration of Planning Center Online
• Maintain TouchPoint requirements for Worship Arts
• Administrate CCLI and other license requirements
• Help keep Worship Arts working environment well maintained, warm, hospitable and
welcoming
• Help manage and maintain worship spaces and resources
• Finance, attendance, and metrics management for Worship Arts
2) Ministry Support
• Have a growth orientation and attitude of encouraging others to participate
• Recruit, shepherd, and equip rhythm players
• Know and use Ableton, ProTools, and other software tools
• Pursue song-writing if gifted in that area
• Help arrange music and charts as requested
• Help with creative and functional recording projects
• Work with Worship Arts Team to help lead students vocally and instrumentally
• Sunday Morning worship leadership as requested
• Rehearsal leadership as requested
• Staff meeting musical worship leadership as requested
• Other cross-team ministry worship leadership as requested
• Participate fully in “all hands on deck” events
• Work with food service ministry surrounding conferences, concerts, or other Worship Arts events
• Attend cross-team and team-wide meetings as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned
Primary Skills Necessary:
1. Maintain a growing walk as a disciple of Jesus Christ
2. Excellent vocalist and instrumentalist (guitar preferred) who has skill to lead and grow others
3. Administrative and organizational gifts
4. Ability to work with a team
5. Highly relational (caring and personable on an individual level)
6. Disciplined (works hard and smart)
7. A growth bias with the ability to attract others to the Worship Arts Ministry
Experience Requirements:
1. College degree preferred
2. Music education (not necessarily a music degree, but helpful if so)
3. Paid ministry experience preferred, but not required
4. Current church member in good standing or willing to become a member at Ingleside
5. Committed to the vision, mission, and values of Ingleside, both as an employee and a church member
Time Required: 40+ hours per week (Typically Sunday - Thursday)
