Posted Date 5/06/2022

First Baptist Church of Rincon (FBCR) is seeking a Senior Pastor, called by God, to lead as we seek to love God and love people in our community and throughout the world. Organized in 1901, FBCR has remained true to its missional emphasis and grown alongside its community. Visitors appreciate its casual atmosphere, warm greetings from friendly members and a full menu of multi-generational ministry opportunities. Weekly attendance at its Sunday services averages 415 adults with 150 children participating in the Kidz ministry. Sunday classes, home groups and D groups provide opportunities for small group interaction throughout the week. Despite the recent pandemic, the church is debt-free, continues to baptize new believers, has partnered in planting five new churches in three cities and has been involved globally in seven different nations.

Located in the burgeoning coastal region of Southeast Georgia, Effingham County was the 31st fastest growing county in the United States in 2019 and has seen a 34.38% population increase over the past decade. Newcomers are attracted to the area for its excellent schools, hometown feel, scenic rivers and recreational activities.
