OVERVIEW
Oak Grove Baptist Church is seeking a gifted and servant-hearted Worship Leader to guide our congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship. This role is responsible for leading weekly worship services, selecting and arranging music, and developing our volunteer worship ministry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with pastoral staff to plan and execute Sunday worship services and special events.
• Lead the congregation with excellence, creating an environment that invites genuine worship.
• Recruit, develop, and serve alongside worship volunteers with humility and grace.
• Prepare weekly by rehearsing, selecting music, and coordinating with volunteers to ensure a seamless worship experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting.
• Strong vocal ability and proficiency in at least one instrument.
• Familiarity with a variety of worship styles and the ability to lead across them.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with worship software, sound systems, and social media.
