Student Pastor

Overview

We're seeking a full-time Student Pastor to join our growing church family. This dynamic individual will lead our middle and high school ministry, building meaningful relationships with students and their families while providing spiritual guidance and discipleship.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging programs for middle and high school students
• Build authentic relationships with students and their families
• Create discipleship pathways that nurture spiritual growth
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteer leaders
• Plan and execute regular events, retreats, and mission opportunities
• Communicate effectively with parents about ministry activities and student development
• Collaborate with church leadership on the overall ministry vision and integration

Qualifications

• Strong personal faith and commitment to spiritual growth
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with both students and parents
• Self-motivated with a creative approach to ministry
• Strong work ethic and willingness to put in the necessary effort for ministry success
• Ability to relate to today's youth culture while maintaining biblical values
• Team player who can work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers
• Experience in youth ministry preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred (theological training a plus)
