Friendship Baptist Church of Warner Robins, GA is actively seeking a part-time (maximum 29 hours per week) Music/Worship Leader.

 

What You Will Do:

Although this list is not comprehensive, as the Music/Worship Leader, you will:

  1. Lead the musical and creative aspects of worship services.
  2. Prepare and manage annual budget for music and worship ministries.
  3. Recruit, equip, and oversee musicians for vocal, band, choir, special music, and worship leading.
  4. Direct rehearsals and coordinate vocal and instrumental (band) production.

 

Your Requirements:

  1. Boldly profess a genuine Christian testimony and character.
  2. Strongly support and advocate for the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 statement.
  3. Exhibit excellent vocal and instrumental skills (guitar, piano/keyboard, etc.…).
  4. Possess the ability to sing, play, and lead music/worship in a blended service format.
  5. Proficient in reading music and teaching basic vocal skills.
  6. Proficient working knowledge of church management presentation software, Planning Center and in-ear monitoring systems and software.
  7. Earned a minimum of an associate degree, with preference given to bachelor’s degree or a seminary degree in a music or worship related field of study, plus experience in leading music/worship within a Southern Baptist church setting.

 

About the Church:

Friendship Baptist Church is a 33-year-old, intermediate size conservative Southern Baptist Church located in a growing area of Houston County, GA.  We average approximately 310 in two Sunday morning worship services. We teach and preach core Bible truths using Scripture to back up what we teach.  We are strongly committed to missions locally, nationally, and internationally. Friendship enjoys a blended music worship style with multiple instruments. Our staff enjoys a very low turnover rate.
