STUDENT PASTOR (Full-Time) – ROSEMONT BAPTIST CHURCH • LaGrange, GA
Rosemont Baptist Church (avg. 850 in weekly attendance) is seeking a full-time Student
Pastor to lead our thriving ministry of approx. 200 students (Grades 6–12) and 60 adult
volunteers. Rosemont is a gospel-centered, mission-driven Southern Baptist church
committed to helping people connect with Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve with purpose.
We hope to fill this role by Summer 2026.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a pastor who loves Jesus, loves students, and can provide strong biblical
teaching, relational shepherding, and visionary leadership. The Student Pastor will lead
weekly gatherings, disciple students, equip volunteers, partner with parents, and oversee all
student ministry programs, events, and mission opportunities. This role is pastoral,
relational, and highly hands-on.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach Scripture faithfully and clearly to middle & high school students
• Lead and develop a large team of volunteer leaders
• Disciple students through worship services, small groups, and personal mentoring
• Plan and oversee retreats, camps, mission trips, and weekly programming
• Communicate consistently with parents
• Manage the student ministry budget, calendar, and safety processes
• Integrate students into the life and mission of the church
• Attend staff meetings, work closely as part of the ministry team, and assist with pastoral
duties
QUALIFICATIONS
• Growing walk with Christ; meets biblical standards for pastoral leadership
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message (2000)
• Student ministry experience (preferably in mid-large ministry settings)
• Strong communicator, leader, organizer, and team-builder
• Relational, approachable, humble, and passionate about discipling teenagers
