Senior Pastor

Fleming Baptist Church, situated in Augusta, Georgia, is earnestly seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who has been divinely prepared to guide our congregation.  As a traditional Southern Baptist Church, we are seeking a mission minded pastor who upholds to the 

• Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Delivers the Word of God with unwavering faithfulness
• Will lead our congregation with wisdom, humility, and compassion.
• The Senior Pastor will be responsible for preaching, teaching, pastoral care, church leadership, and community outreach. 

Qualifications:

• Called to pastoral ministry and committed to the inerrancy and authority of the Scriptures. 
• Graduated seminary school with at least 3 years of experience as a pastor preferred.
• Ordained in a Southern Baptist Church and conforms to the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, financial awareness and responsibility, and effective administration skills to lead, manage, and organize the church staff.
• Possess proven character and integrity, maintain a vital personal relationship with the Lord through daily Bible study and prayer, and prioritize family at home. Exhibit a Godly balanced life.
